April 30th marks the beginning of the first Coldcut North American Tour since 2000 with their showcase at the Coachella Valley Music Festival. It's been a while since they've had the chance to wow audiences on this side of the ocean (if you don't count their headlining show at M3 in Miami, which was awesome by the way) with their audio/visual spectacle, which has been heavily updated to represent the new material from Sound Mirrors. Coldcut are bringing along Juice Aleem (from Big Dada's New Flesh) to hold down microphone duties, with assorted members of the Ninja family joining the show for select dates. The opening slot for the entire tour (Coachella excluded) will be held down by Blockhead with DJ Signify.
